john McCain was 2nd place out of all Americans in America.
You can vote for anybody with US citizenship thats over 40.
Im sure the news would cover it if somebody got more then McCain.

Considering there was Millions that could become President.

There were not millions that could become president. There were two that had even the slightest chance of becoming president. In order to become president you need to be well known in enough states to earn 270 points in the electoral college, Mickey Mouse is a common write in who is well known enough but still never gets enough votes to be worth caring about. Its like being in a foot race with millions of people and giving two racers Bugatti Veyrons and saying everyone has a chance.
